” Creativity takes courage “ - Henri Matisse

Matisse’s passion for vivid colors made him an icon in modern art. He was part of an art movement called  ’Fauvism’ where colors are used with no concern towards the subject matter’s original colors.

Did you know that Matisse once said that he did not mind turning into a vermilion goldfish? He painted goldfishes in a number of his artworks. He said the goldfishes represented a peaceful mindset.
